Leveraging BIM/3D for pathway design and clash detection, the team completed the data-infrastructure component in 10 months, handing over scalable, compliant, connectivity-ready spaces linked across the campus in partnership with Devcon Construction, Redwood City Electric, CalCoast, and SASCO (data-infrastructure scope: $9M).

The scope included a campus fiber and copper backbone with raised-floor distribution in high-density lab areas; integration of DAS, ERS, and IoT systems; and comprehensive inter-building connections supporting device development and logistics. Leveraging BIM/3D for pathway design and clash detection, MDI delivered connectivity-ready, scalable, and compliant infrastructure aligned to the campus’s hardware/R&D objectives in collaboration with the owner’s design-build and trade partners.
